K2, at 8,611 meters (28,251 feet) above sea level, is the second highest mountain in the world. It is located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan. K2 is the highest point of the Karakoram range. K2 is known as the Savage Mountain after George Bell, a climber on the 1953 American Expedition, told reporters “It’s a savage mountain that tries to kill You” Of the five highest mountains in the world, K2 is the deadliest where approximately one person dies on the mountain for every four who reach the summit. K2 is also occasionally known as Chhogori, or Mount Godwin-Austen, other nicknames for K2 are The King of Mountains and The Mountaineers’ Mountain, as well as The Mountain of Mountains after climber Reinhold Messner titled his book about K2 the same. K2 is the only eight-thousand-meter peak that has never been climbed during winter or from its East Face. Ascents have almost always been made in July and August, the warmest times of year; K2’s more northern location makes it more susceptible to inclement and colder weather.

The Baltoro Glacier (Urdu: بالتورو گلیشیر‎), at 63 km in length, is one of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions. It is located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It runs through part of the Karakoram mountain range. The Baltoro Muztagh lies to the south and east of the glacier, while the Masherbrum Mountains lie to the south. K2 and three other Eight thousands within 20 km.

The Baltoro Glacier, K-2 Gondogoro la trek has the most beautiful and loveliest mountain panoramas in the world. The scenery of this region is dreamy and un-matched in the world. The climax of the trek is the crossing of the Gondogoro La to enter the Hushe valley to take the return road journey to Skardu with the logistic support of Balti porters, the trek becomes a mixture of nature and cultural splendors. We will take you to far-off places as an honored guest served by our professional staff and promise you the journey of lifetime to see the most incredible places, highest mountain chain and friendly faces during the trip.
